Art fans, collectors and enthusiasts may wish to check in to a Singapore hotel next month as the city prepares for the opening of a new show.The Art Above and Below Sea Level exhibition, which runs from May 20th to June 6th at the L2 Space Gallery, will feature the artwork of Singapore's own Tan Haur.Well known for immersing himself in different environments, his photography and artwork draws on inspiration from a range of locations, events and everyday items.In this latest exhibition, Tan Haur will be showcasing some of his most recent works, the majority of which were completed during his two-year visit to Australia.Among the pieces on display will be fascinating underwater sketches and drawings of the Great Barrier Reef, as well as photographs and paintings of the Snowy Mountains and Black Mountains.Known for challenging conventions and experimenting with different mediums and technologies, Tan Haur's surreal artwork is sure to attract plenty of admirers.Located on Keppel Road, the L2 Space gallery holds a range of exhibitions throughout the year, featuring paintings, sculptures and fine art photography from a range of Asian artists.
